It is believed that government should provide tuition fees free for undergraduates whether their income higher or low, Although it would be beneficial for middle-classes, while i should be disagree to that view because if education be free , some students might not value it.
One key reason for prioriting free education is that it provides equal access. That is to say, by covering students tuition fees, government opens variety doors for talented students with lower-income backgrounds. For example many students who are from middle-class families accepte top ranked universities in ever year, however most of them can not pay for fees, an a result they can not graduate university while they have good education knowledge.
However, another idea against is that providing university fees would cause lose value of education. On other words when government pay fees for students, some students will be demotivated from it, eventhough they will drop out the universities. This is because some of students receive financial aid by university for studying well and holding that grand they should be consistently active on education. If it were for free education, they would not need study that hard.
Given that covering tuition fees for undergraduates might be beneficial for lower-income students, who are not affordable to pay for education.
