The discussion about whether it’s better to live in a big city or in the suburbs has always been popular. Some people say that city supplies a great variety of facilities for children, while others insist on the disadvantages of these lives. In my point of view, both these ideas are accurate and worth discussing.
First of all, I would like to talk about the advantages of big cities for children. Generally speaking, life there is more technology-dependent. That’s why children there more developed. They learn technology basis since their childhood. In today’s world such skills are required at any age. What is more, there are much more facilities for learning, such as advanced schools, developing centers, etc. They provide education of a very good quality. In addition, there are a lot of entertainment, for instance, zoos, circuses and so on.
On the one hand, life in the countryside is much quitter and more peaceful. People do not need to worry about the pollution as everything is clean there. There is no noise, no crowds and no traffic jams, what we cannot say about a big city. On the other hand, facilities for children are limited there. There may be even no schools or a school with bad-educated teachers and old buildings. As for entertainment, it is also limited there, due to the fact of a very little population.
To conclude, I would like to say that both of the point have pros and cons. Nevertheless, as for my child, I would definitely choose living in a big city because it gives a lot of opportunities for the future.
