In this modern world, an increasing number of people are moving to big cities for a better quality of life and well-being. It is believed that children living in the metropolis are better off growing up than those in rural areas. From my point of view, I would disagree with this statement since living in the city centre may provide better education, healthcare, etc.
The primary factor behind living in big cities is that children can be supported by better quality of educational support. This is to say that there are developing technical gadgets and digital tools such as electronic robots, digital whiteboards, and practical stuff. Another factor to consider is having knowledgeable teachers or educators who are experts in their subjects or in handling children’s situations. Moreover, urban areas have faster internet connections, which can be lacking in remote areas, resulting in convenient and accessable to learn lessons or attend classes online via Zoom, Google Meet, YouTube, etc.
Another underlying reason is that large cities offer a greater number of hospitals and medicine shops, while there are few kinds of medical centres, which can be far away from the country sites. Recent research has shown that a large number of children living in rural regions are dying from not reaching the hospitals in time. For instance, a child who has been suffering from a serious illness might die due to a lack of medicine or doctors. Therefore, I would suggest building more medical facilities in such areas.
To put it in a nutshell, children should grow up in city centre than rural areas for a better educational background and health assistance. In addition, I would recommend updating more facilities such as transportation, education, medical support, etc.
