It is well known that the number of debris made by people is a burning issue. This essay will discuss how different types of garbage and other pollutants are posing a risk for the environment, and the most suitable solutions to tackle this problem.
The first thing to say is that nowadays humans use lots of disposable plastic for different kinds of packaging. Everyday a considerable amount of plastic garbage is thrown away. We find plastic almost everywhere. It’s in containers, bottle caps, cars, shoes, and even in tea bags. The problem is that we cannot recycle every type of plastic waste and our planet is laden with it. A lot of animals are suffering because of a polluted habitat. The only solution is to use more biodegradable materials and reusable bottles, cups, boxes and ect. Also we can make restrictions on the use of plastic bags, for example to give benefits to stores that replace them with recyclable paper ones.
Secondly, a huge part of the society is not interested in this problem. Lots of people do not think about the consequences of environmental pollution. Some of them have never heard about global warming, floodings and other natural catastrophes caused by men’s irresponsibility. To tackle this problem governments ought to provide education about proper waste management. Students can be taught about this through a subject in the school curriculum, as well as providing enough garbage bins and tax people who throw garbage in inappropriate places.
In conclusion, the global issue of increasing rubbish production caused by humans is very important and we have to deal with it as soon as possible.
