Undoubtably, history is a crucial subject for the young people. However, it is suggested by some that knowing local history is more essential than world history. I believe that without knowing their own history a school children can not be the ideal person in the future.
On the one hand , local history plays a paramount role for the positive development of a child . Firstly, If it is known by a child , how their ancestors contributed for the well being of the socity, it will motivate them. In other words, the good deeds which is done by the ancestors will not only motivate them but also will show them the correct path of prosperity. Secondly , learning about the rich culture of the area will not only increase their knowledge but also it wll help them to respect their culture more. Furthermore, the traditional culture will also be alive by them.
On the other hand , knowing world history have its own benifits. To begain with, gaining world history knowledge is medatory for different exam and general knowledge . Last but not least, through learning different culture, it will increase the philosophy about the way they think and other aspects.
I believe that gaining knowledge is substantial about world history. However, the first step for a school children should be knowing about their own history , without it prosperity is imposible. That is because if a child do not know theirbown history , how it can be aspected , they will acknowledge world history and respect it.
In conclusion, there are many things which should be known by school childrens about the past background of the world , although at first they have to know more about their local background.
