Nowadays, one group of people have an opinion that technologies ,like smartphone and other gadgets ,make individuals more isolated from world, while another group of people believe that it helps to stay in touch better. In my opinion, modern technology was invented to help people, but some of them start misusing it, so now it has both advantages and disadvantages. I strongly believe that technology improve communication.This essay will discuss two views of individuals.
One the one hand, the actual problem in whole world that people , especially young generation, became more isolated. And parents blame modern technology, which is right opinion , because they start misusing it by playing some video games all day , scrolling through social media and many other entertainments. Instead of using gadgets with purpose , children choose to have fun online. Additionally, young people nowadays prefer to communicate on social media and messengers instead of going out and meeting friends. This hurts face- to- face communication.
On the other hand, there are several advantages of technologies. For instance, video calls helps families and friends stay connected over long distances, which is pretty convenient. Additionally, it really helps people with disabilities or mobility issues because they can interact more freely using modern technology. For instance, those individuals who cannot travel easily can still socialise or work through online platforms. I believe that technology makes people’s lifes easier and provide many opportunities for everyone.
In conclusion, although technology can sometimes cause isolation problems ,it undeniable makes communication more accessible. I think that when it used wisely, technology helps people stay connected and strengthen relationships.
