Some people have argued that university graduates should earn higher wages than people who have not completed any courses. Although I agree that these graduates deserve good salaries, I do not believe that it is right for them to pay the full cost of their education.
In my opinion, university graduates have the right to earn good incomes since they have put so much effort and time into studying and practicing. Not only do they have to study day and night to perform well in exams, but they also strive to achieve their qualifications as well as prove that they are valuable individuals for society. Moreover, through their hard work in training at universities, they have enough knowledge, and vital skills to fulfill the requirements for specialized jobs. For example, a nursing graduate has studied very hard to be qualified to take care of other people; therefore, she deserves good pay for all of her hard work and training at university.
However, I do not believe that graduates should pay the full cost of their degree courses. Many excellent and talented students are deterred from going to university due to their financial problems. For instance, some students have to drop their university studies because they cannot afford the fees, even though they are brilliant individuals. From my point of view, this is such a waste since these students have a bright future to perform well and contribute to society. I strongly believe universities should have some kind of programs that support students with their financial difficulties.
In conclusion, it is worthwhile for university graduates to earn great wages for their hard studying and training; however, it is not right that they should pay all of the cost of their university courses.
