It goes without saying that inflation all over the world has caused severe ramifications. One of them being forcing people to work seven days a week. Folks begrudgingly hire helpers to do some basic chores simply because they are not left with enough time to do it themselves. I believe it is a boon and a bane, but the negative outcomes outweigh the positives, since this triggers laziness and complacency.
Certain circumstances requires individuals to employ volunteers for day-to-day tasks. Pregnancy, bankruptcy, mortgage, Single parenting are few of many such instances. In situations like these, this should be considered a great way of micro managing work life balance. Having said that, there comes a time in life, when a human being crosses the bridge of working and reaches the stage of life where it becomes difficult to even pass a day since there is nothing much to do, and that is when they realize that they have become complacent and unfit because of the habit of having lads do basic household chores for them.
Jason, an old neighbor of mine who spent most of his young years paying for things like laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, and lawn cleaning got addicted to this lifestyle. At 60 years of age, he retired. He was appalled by the fact that his body could not cope up with physical activities, and a big chunk of his day was spent laying on bed. He soon faced medical problems.
In conclusion, l will reiterate that despite all trials and tribulations, a human being must do their tasks themselves considering there are plethora of health benefits that cornes along with it, and like the elders say, “Health is Wealth”.
