Life is difficulty imagined without new technologies like a car, television or fridge in currently modern life and everybody try to buy theirs. It has some positive points, in spite of that, drawbacks are significant.
Firstly, it may cause economic growth for the country. Due to high demand, manufactures produce in large quantities and they pay more taxes. Moving to second reason, people who possess them use more electricity. Also, owners of cars also need to have fuel, because of this, fuel stations, car workshops make a trade more. In general, gross domestic product increase. Secondly, they help to well live and prevent extravagance. For example, people can watch news around the world without moving their seat or they keep excess food in the fridge. In addition, Cars short their long ways and save time.
Every aspect has two sides. High usage of technologies may cause many negative influences. One example of this is pollution. Cars separate carbon emissions. Also, most of the electricity is generated by blasting uranium. Many electric products are quickly broken down and they are realized to garbage. Secondly, traffic jams are happened, owing to the increasing number of cars. Only few highways meet to demand. Thirdly, they may be basis to bad events such as car accident or eye diseases.
In conclusion, I think, although they have some positive points like country income or easy living, their drawbacks, environment pollutions, accidents and others are significant and they outweigh the advantages.
