In the contemporary world, the self-awareness of one’s behaviors and personalities is often undermined by social recognition due to the irresponsibility in people’s mind. These incidents occur because of the improper education in the school system, which heavily influences children’s minds and attitudes. Therefore, in recent years, the societal norm has been to significantly increase the value of teaching civil education and behavior management in terms of formal education. However, a number of people have voiced the opposite opinion, stating that schools should keep regular classes and focus on academic successes. The essay will discuss both views of the issue while revealing my personal opinion toward the problem.
To begin with, the notion of good behavior should be considered a first priority in any school, as it lays the foundation for all students that discipline isn’t to be undervalued and acts as a steppingstone to lead students toward becoming responsible individuals. The beneficial outcomes of nurturing students with good behaviors include giving them a personalized mindset with the capability to interpret conversations and focus on giving proper replies, as well as the ability to negate and minimize personal conduct. In a world where diversity presents itself in every corner, it is crucial for schools to incorporate teaching society norms, meaning letting students know about the differences between culturally appropriate and inappropriate gestures and behaviors between people. Students who are taught with care about the sensitive aspects of personal and social life will indeed perform better in their lives by reducing the rate of misunderstanding and conflict while promoting acceptance and respect for different cultures.
