It is said that, a person should not get a reservation in order to get a job. I totally agree with this line of thought. This essay will not only provide reasonable arguments for my view, but also provide a contrary perspective that others might have in society.
Firstly, it is appropriate to remove reservation in jobs because authorities can select the best candidets. When there is a reservation in any field, certain people become eligable for it despite having less abilities, so it affects society. For instance, some fields such as medical and enginnering require higly talented individuals, because there is a no room for errors. Therefore, if goverment give reservation in jobs, there are high chances that it will create a chaotic situation in society.
Secondly, resevation in employment is harmful because some political parties use it to influence people’s votes. It is a trend that, in nations where literacy rate is low, politicians often try to manipulate there votes by promising reservation for certain communities. Thus, instead of developing nations, a reservation leads to the unfair political environment and often cause several social problems. For instance, In India, the Election Commision often imposes panalty and restrict political parties, which use a reservation to buy votes, but still there are many reigonal and local concils who are manipulating individuals votes by doing it.
On the other hand, one part of society thinks that is not advisable to remove reservation because it helps under-privileged communities to grow. There are some peope form a perticular casts and certain minorities have experienced injustice and criticizm in the past. In addition, they do not have enough resources to grow. Thus, it is a moral responsiblity of society to help these individuals by providing reservation in jobs.
In conclusion, although reservation is important to uplift quality of life of under-privileged individuals, in my opinion, it is beneficial to remove reservation, because nowadays these communities have enough resources, and apart from that it creates chaotic situation in society and also influences people’s vote.
