Opinions are divided as to whether we should let the younger or the older ones be a leader. While it is believed that the younger can make a superior director. I would argue that the contribution of our leader with seniority should overlooked.
On the one hand, it is claimed that choosing emerging leaders is the choice for companies as well as organisation that want to earn the highest profits. Firstly, younger directors have a reputation for open-minded that can facilitate more pioneering innovations. In addition , they can easily get access with modern technology and equipment as they are more sensitive with trends and also can come up with many creative ideas which will boost the brand’s popularity. For instance, teenagers especially Z generation who grow up with digital native and smart devices, are now own their business and also success in establish a firmer position in the market for their company.
On the other hand, i hold the strong opinion that our organisations should take up the senior to become the director. Not only do they are seasoned but also can make up more informed decisions. As you can see in many conglomerates, the majority of veterans is chosen to take on leadership positions, because they have enough ability and knowledge to decide immediately when their company face up to serious issues. Being a seniority leader, they can earn respect from our subordinates. That is the reason why our teamwork can be strengthened powerfully, as well as boost the advantageous for the company.
In conclusion, although it is purported that younger directors have good features, i find myself full accord with the idea that organisations’s success is attributed to the veteran leaders.
