Majority of the people believes that citizens will have a more enhanced quality of life in the next twenty years. From my perspective,I completely agree with this view, as I think the advancements will have significant impacts on our way of living.
First and foremost, with the advancement of technology, more and more machines will be invented in upcoming years, which means they will help people to work more efficiently. Furthermore, with the assistance of these sophisticated inventions, people will be able to spend more time conducting other tasks and they will also have more time to relax. For instance, workers in the textile industry had to work for a long period each day in the past .However, nowadays they can use several machines to do their previous jobs of weaving so they can reduce the time they spend on working. Hence, it is obvious that the advancement on technology can help people to have more leisure time in the future.
Additionally , there is another reason to be optimistic about the future. During the next twenty years, there will be important advances in medicine . Our lives will be healthier and more enjoyable because doctors will be able to cure most illnesses.
