A lot of people stay in a country where they have to speak a foreign language. This can cause some social and practical problems. Well, I totally agree with this statement and I am going to talk more about it in this essay.
People across the world use different languages with one another. Not only that, they also have different accents and dialect while speaking the same language. This can cause problems while interacting with locals. It is one of the main reasons a person finds it difficult to blend in with others. They are not able to make friends that quickly or secure jobs easily for that matter. A language barrier may lead to miscommunication and misunderstanding.
Although these issues do not last that long, as after a certain period of time, everyone starts to adapt to the new language, accent or dialect. The more they talk to others, the more they get comfortable communicating in the foreign language. A person listens to a local using the correct accent and adapts to it slowly and steadily. For example, many Indians move to the United States for higher studies and get used to an American accent by the end of their course.
Altogether, I want to conclude by saying that newcomers always face issues with the language barrier to communicate and make their own place, but it is not permanent and gets better as time passes by. This is a kind of issue that can be tackled in many possible ways.
