Adapting in a new culture can be challenging, but those things make us grow as a person.
When I study it in sixth grade, I travelled to Greece. It was an exciting day for me. Fortunately, my dad knows English so we couldn’t lost in a big city then I understood that English is need for people to connect with each other in diverse background. So the first thing is the language to understand each other in a host family. How about skills?
I am communicative person. It helped me many times when I changed my school because I had understood that I needed to get acquainted with everybody, but it wasn’t difficult for me. I changed my school four times and all the time I could adapt quickly. I believe that I can adjust in a host family and in the new environment rapidly.
To feel that I am part of his family I will help them with cleaning house, setting tha table and trying to know about their culture more. Moreover to support the communication. I will talk to my culture too. it will help us to understand each other and feel that I’m part of their family.
In conclusion I know the language, and I have communication ability, additionally reciprocity facilitate our relationship with my host family and in the new environment.
