In the modern world people try to make their life more easy, thus computer technology increases every day. Definitely, it did not bypass the translation sphere, consequently there are plenty of machine translators like: conventional Google translator or AI. Some people claim that humans are more accurate than machine interpreters and there is no ability to eliminate people from this job. In this essay I am going to give my own opinion and discuss both sides.
From one point of view, there are many reasons to argue that computers are better. First and foremost, they are much quicker and it takes several seconds to see the translation of sentences. Moreover, people just need to select the appropriate language of all that exists and enjoy the result. At the same time real translators should study language for years and in the end, humans will never know all languages, as AI do.
Another group of human beings call for rejection from machine translation. They believe that the final result is inaccurate and has a number of mistakes. However, it could decrease the unemployment rate, which is an essential advantage in general. One more prons ia about saving time, because after artificial intelligence someone must check the text, which was translated by machine and rewrite some episodes or correct errors. For this reason, a machine interpreter wastes time and does its work poorly.
If we speak about me, undoubtedly I will agree with the statement that computers will not be able to take this role from humans or even do it better. They can be assistants and give a hand with translating, but not to be instead people.
To sum up, artificial intelligence as translator is a great assistant. It can easily translate into various languages in a few seconds, but there are a lot of mistakes and inaccuracies, that is why human beings must waste their time to rewrite text. Consequently, people will never be removed from this job!
