In this contemporary society, children are encouraged to learn through digital learning methods. However, it is argued that conventional education will be obsolete, and alternative approaches will gain greater importance by 2050. In my opinion, while technology plays a crucial role in the education system, formal learning is the most effective way of teaching, which can be enhanced by integrating digital techniques to improve the overall education system.
To begin with, conventional schools offer a wide range of benefits for students by providing face-to-face teaching, which provides individual attention and immediate feedback from teachers. For instance, at school, if a student struggles to solve a mathematical equation, a teacher can provide personalized guidance which ensures that there is no child left behind. Furthermore, one of the key advantages is that this will encourage children to improve teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills, which are essential for success beyond the classroom.
Conversely, digital methods are equipped with greater potential to develop the education system, rather than traditional schooling, by integrating online platforms with artificial intelligence, online courses, and remote learning. For example, the students can use educational apps to improve their particular skills that they were taught in school. Moreover, alternate practices foster an environment, where individuals can learn at their own pace with instant access to information.
In conclusion, although technological advancements have proven that they are the most convenient and flexible approach for young learners, classroom education is unlikely to be replaced with a fully digital environment. As a result, there will be a hybrid model for teaching by incorporating a blend of both traditional and digital methods by 2050.
