Improving living standard leads to decrease the moral values . Majority of countries want to enhance the their living standard with progress while other condemn that people are forgetting their moral values due to this .I am strongly in favour of former set of people . I have discussed my views with example in looming paragraphs .
To initiate with, increase in job opportunities. Establishment of new industries lead to increase employment level and this need more investment as well as it enhance the living standard of individuals , moreover economic development also improve medical facilities which result in decline in death rate . To exemplify, A survey was conducted last year by Oxford University which revealed that the death rate of individuals decreased due to availability of proper medical facilities in hospitals . Hence, the economy of country developed.
However, economic development result in busy schedule of masses . Persons become more materialistic and they are forgetting their ethics . They want to live a affluent life. For example, people who are quite rich they are not so responsible for paying attention to their family and social values. Thus , people are forgetting their moral values.
To recapitulate , although economic development is essential yet , government should stop the wrong usage of money. Additionally, preventing the ethical values from abolishing is crucial for well developed country also the government should make some rule and regulation so that we are save our environment from degradation that has been done due to development of industries.
