Many countries are encouraging remote individuals to work where they want to work. In my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages because individuals do not need to think where they should live to commute. In addition, it would be a solution of traffic jam or traffic congestion.
Many individuals are struggling with commuting today because they have to commute to work. It leads to traffic problems. This instance can be seen in Tokyo. In Tokyo, many workers take subways around morning and evening, thereby subways are so crowded that some workers give up taking subway. However, if the government promotes more digital nomad, many workers would not take crowded subways anymore. This trend is likely to be a game changer for workers. Moreover, many workers prefer to work in their houses rather than spending time on commuting. As a result, many workers would work efficiently and workers could save their time and spend more time on what they want to. Thus, this trend leads to improving working conditions.
The second reason is that it can be a solution for migration. Many countries have been struggled with migration because some rural areas became obsoleted. Many individuals belive there are more job opportunities in cities. It is caused migration. For example, in Tottori prefecture, there is a decline in the number of people who live in. Especially, younger generations prefer to live in cities. Consequently, Tottori prefecture is said that it will be likely to be disappeared in future. However, if the govenment encourages younger generations to work in Tottori prefecture, the future of Tottori might be changed.
In conclusion, digital nomad will play crucial roles in enhancing working condition and preventing some rural areas from being disappeared.
