Although the sources behind this challenge are construction of new buildings and not appropriate maintenance, with strict laws and proper functioning of hired staff, these causes can be overcome.

The land of these ancient buildings are mostly owned by the government, and they are selling those areas to multinational companies to build their offices or big plazas. Although the government might be using that sale funds for development, the historic place is destroyed in return. The government should introduce strict laws under which sale and purchase of these historic places should be prohibited. The government authorities or any private firms could not be able to bid on these heritage buildings. Moreover, once this law is reformed, no elected party should have the power to tailor it. Additionally, the staff should be employed for the maintenance, providing tours and security to the ancient buildings. This solution would be helpful for the regular keeping which will attract more of the tourists, and the history of the particular building will be known by many. Hiring staff would also create an attraction in local residents, as this will be the opportunity to get a job and preserve their heritage.
