Most of the museums around the world collect entry fee from the general public where as some of them allows entry at no cost. In my opinion, there are more benefits of collecting money for entry rather than drawbacks.
Firstly, art gallaries which collects ticket fees from general public would collect more revenue that could be wisely used for the betterment of museum itself. When there are adequate amount of financial support, museums are more ikely to stay clean and attractive. Moreover, adequate revenve would help museums to preserve old arts and sculptures by doing timely cleaning and colouring. For examples, every year in Nepal, Chhauni museum hire people by paying large sum of money to clean old sculptures and wall to keep gallary attractive among publics. Thus, it is very important that museum collents some amount from visitors.
Secondly, it is a human nature that they are more attracted to free places rather than costly. Therefore, allocating money to enter museum premises would protect museum from being too cruded. By doing so, art galaries will be protected from the evil eye of robbers. Furthermore, General people who pay fpr services would not have to rush in crowd rather they could enjoy their quality time in friendly environment.
In conclusion, when art exhibition stores allow people to pay for exhibition it will generate more revenue and also admission fee encourage less crowds. So, in my opinion, advantage outweigh drawbacks.
