Nowadays, the stress from society becomes so heavy that people cannot afford it. Some of them want to go traveling for a short relax, which leads to the whole world’s tourism grows fast. Almost every place has its own museums and historical sites where are mainly visited by the outside tourists but not local people. Some reasons are shown below and some ways to fix the problem are also described after.

First of all, the main reason that local people have no interest to visit the regional places is that they have already been here several times in their childhood. Compared to go to the same places again, most people will choose to have more new experiences in various sites where can bring them fresh feelings. To help with this type of cases, the local tourism-related government bodies can make some incentive measures to attract the locals. For example, they can set some policies such as if tourists come to the museums and historical sites for twice and more, there will be discounts on the ticket prices until free. That will be an attrative way for increasing the rates of locals’ visits.

Secondly, most of people do not actually can be calm and relax in the museum or some similar sites. The society is in a fast speed, more people are willing to have a rest in the bars or lay on the beaches. To some tourists, the historical sites are still new and a little bit attractive for them to visit, however, for the locals, there is no reason for them to come. Some solutions can improve this situation. One of them is combining some new blood with the original historical styles. For instance, some people think museum is bored, they don’t want to waste time there to read the stories written in it. Then the museum can bring in some 3D videos which can display the cultures and stories more vividly, and make people have a real experience. At that time, not only tourists, but also the locals will be very excited to come.

In conclusion, although there are several reasons of that the historical sites are more visited by tourists but not locals, relevant measures can be taken to solve the problem.
