A lot of museums ask for visiting, while others are free. In my opinion, there are more disadvantages in museums with payment at the entrance, than advantages in free-enter museums.
Admittedly, there could be some advantages when museums charge for admission. In our century, a lot of people are too busy to visit such cultural facilities as museums. Museums with free entrance have more benefits for this part of society and they attract more visitors and increase their popularity. They can put inside some counters, where people will be able to buy souvenirs, coffee, merch and etc. Another advantage of free entrance museums can be children’s ability to come without money. Of course, parents can give them money but not always. Kids don’t work at jobs for earn something, so museums with no tickets can be the perfect way to have free cultural experience already in such young age.
However, there are far more drawbacks for museums with entrance tickets. A lot of museum in some famous for tourists places might have huge amount of cost, even without any stunning exhibits, paintings inside. That makes think about something like “Is it worth it?”. Why people should spend their money on expensive tickets without any works of arts in some museums as “Museum Of The Future” in Dubai? A lot of people on internet say that this museum is not worth it to spend money to go inside. Everyone can just go inside to the main hall and see all of cool things without any payments. Also, there is a second disadvantage. During whole evolution of people we see hierarchy between us. That someone can’t afford to buy expensive things, not to mention the tickets in museums which is really expensive. Museums can loose their visitors, because the largest number of people are poor and middle size people.
In conclusion, we see that disadvantages in museums with ticket at the entrance are more serious than advantages of free-ticket museums.
