In recent years, global migration has escalated, exerting a profound influence on societies globally. Immigration is driven by a myriad of factors, including economic prospects, political instability, and the yearning for enhanced quality of life. This phenomenon profoundly impacts the cultural, economic, and social fabric of host countries, generating both favorable and unfavorable consequences. One of the primary motivations for immigration is the pursuit of economic prosperity and an improved standard of living. Consequently, a considerable number of individuals relocate to industrialized nations in search of better employment opportunities and higher incomes. Furthermore, political upheaval and constraints impel many to cross the borders of their native lands in pursuit of security and a promising future for their families. A compelling illustration of this can be seen in the exodus of a significant portion of Ukraine’s population, compelled to seek refuge due to the country’s precarious situation. Nevertheless, immigration can give rise to more challenges than solutions, leading to adverse implications for both immigrants and their host nations. Firstly, numerous refugees encounter difficulty in securing employment owing to language barriers and challenges in acclimatizing to the new environment. Additionally, the influx of immigrants often engenders societal tensions. Secondly, not all migrants have access to adequate shelter, sustenance, and medical assistance, leaving them vulnerable even after crossing the border. Lastly, even highly skilled professionals seeking lucrative opportunities often struggle to realize their aspirations. In conclusion, it is evident that individuals undertake immigration in pursuit of better prospects in life. However, life after immigration does not invariably align with the expectations of the individuals.
