There is ongoing debate about whether schools should prioritize on teaching students soft skills, for instance communication and teamwork, rather than focusing on academic subjects. Soft skills play important role on how learners will interacting with their social environment, therefore I personally agree on teacher should teach on soft skills improvement
Schools curriculum that focus on academic subjects is a mandatory. Academic value can help the children to facing their future, for example their academic scores will be considered if they applied on higher education level. In order to applying prominent university, students scores on academic will be highlighted. Bad academic scores tend to decline student’s spaces to register the best schools or university.
Soft skills became vital aspect on students nowadays, students with lack of soft skills will facing a lot of troubles when they are trying to be standout. Communication perks of learners should be improved, especially when it comes to public speaking. Our Extroverted students will be easier to develop their communication skills, however introverted students can also drill this skills by routine enhancement. When our pupils is graduated, teamwork play a key role on working environment rather than developing individual skills. Teamwork management should be teach on curriculum as an aspect that need to be improved.
It can be concluded that schools curriculum not only just need to focus on their academic subjects but also should consider to prioritizing student’s need to rise their soft skills because that skills really help our student’s in their future as a workers and entrepreneur as well.
