Band 5+: Many people believe that cigarette smoking has had a negative impact for far too long and the only solution to end it is to make cigarettes illegal worldwide. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The assertion that most individuals strongly support that smoking cigarettes has had bad affect until these days and the only reach of this is making the bargain of cigarettes illegal all around the world has sparked widespread discussion. While some individuals might disagree entirely, I am of the opinion that this may lead to improve the working system of the brain to a great extent, as will be elaborated upon below.

To a significant extent, I agree with this statement due to its harms to both humans lives and environment where smokers live and pass their time. This viewpoint is well-supported by the damages to the working process of the lungs of non-smokers and the change of fresh atmosphere to the dirty one. For instance, if the people who smoke stands with the people who do not smoke it was mentioned in google that much suffered people will be non-smokers with the way of passive smoking with 75% of smoking. Moreover, the fresh atmosphere that we are breathing nowadays may be extremely damaged as a result increasing the number of smokers in the cities of ours.

However, it is also important to consider the bad results such as being cancer of lips or tongues. This is evident in the life of many people who faced up with those kinds of cancers in their life. Nevertheless, this does not outweigh the first mentioned idea which still leads me to agree to a great extent.

In conclusion while there are valid arguments on both sides, I maintain that making cigarettes illegally will help to reduce the bad impact of them to a great extent due to mentioned ideas above. Therefore, the government should think about the alternatives of cigarettes, as the consumers of them will seek for them and may do any kind of illegal actions to achieve them.
