With the integration of urbanization in almost all the cities around the globe, the rate of increasing pollution is of a major concern. In this situation many people argue that the problem should be fixed in a broader way by international laws and regulations. While I see the importance of foreign laws and policy for controlling the environmental issue but I firmly believe that working in a closer niche and solving our own hazard can be more beneficial in longer run.
The idea of the world affairs being solved in a larger run with application of knowledge and skills from all around the globe sounds like a neccesary step. But with closer look we can realise the actual importance of working from a local level.If collective efforts are put, the depletion of ecological quality in the world can be solved with smaller steps from each country on their own.
Creating a healthy living environment around us must be an initial step towards contributing to solving environmental problems. If the shelter is clean the individuals are illness-free which gives them the power to further contribute to others. Little efforts from small part of world can create a greater difference if done with adequate skills and good motive. For example – Cleanliness campaign of Bagmati river has influenced many other residential areas to sanitize their nearby water resource which is proving to be a very successful event. This unpolluted water when reaches bigger sources wouldnot pollute the oceans. This is how a small step can create a larger effecr in a long run.
With utmost realisation of the essentiality of the laws and regulations provided by world affairs to create a friendly,clean and proogressive nature, I believe that our collaborative hardwork in making our towns and villages a safer place can solve a huge issue of environmental degradation quickly and efficiently
