Quick entertainments can affect young children in a very negative way. Short time activities, like watching movies and playing computer games, may lead to serious issues for youth. I strongly agree, that not lasting funs can be dangerous for children because those may quickly become a habit, and cognitive abilities of children are developing.
Not focusing long enough on one activity can become a bad habit after a while. A young child who is engaging in very short activities does not learn to concentrate and do something for a relatively long time. In contrast, such a kid will get used to quick activities, and it can become habitual. I have heard about children with concentration disorders, and I think, that wrong forms of entertainment, like quick distractions, which I mentioned before, can lead to such problems. By engaging in lasting tasks or games a child will learn to stay focused, and it will not become a habit to constantly search for short time funs.
Mental abilities of youngsters are in a development stage, and wrong behavior can affect them much more that adults. It is generally more difficult for children to stay focused on one activity, and by encouraging bad behavioral patterns their ability to concentrate can worsen and even lead to disorders. For example, after a short period of concentration a young child wants to engage in physical activities or to find other distractions and will become upset without it. Adults do not need to make pauses so often.
I conclusion, short time entertainments can lead to concentration difficulties for youth because not staying long on one activity can become a habit, and children’s abilities are in a development stage. Wrong behavioral patterns in children may even be a reason for illness. It is very important to pay attention on how a child is entertaining because it is crucial for a child’s health and development.
