Countries like Nepal has a vast field for tourism because of its ecosystem and traditions which makes Nepal one of the best places for vacations. For countries like nepal tourism industry is one of the major source of income as many tourists spend a lot of money to visit these countries. Due to tourism industry becoming popular, many nations have started relying on tourism for their source of income but this is not a good thing in my opinion because tourism is a temporary means of revenue.
Since the nations who promote tourism industry widely are making their country well known among others and it has created a major source of earning. Tourism industry is a major source as for countries who do not have other way of earning. So, they rely on their traditions and natural diversity to attract foreigners. For example, Nepal is one of the most popular choice for a visit due to its unique and wide variety of cultures, traditions and its natural beauty. People tend to visit Nepal due to these aspects and due to this Nepal has a stable source of income from tourism.
Although, countries may make revenue out of tourism but relying solely on them can leave nations with criticism and hate. As many of us know India is also a country with many tourists touring every year but due to the people in India who try to scam touriusts and because of their unusual behaviour towards foreigners, people often post criticism and hate posts or videos against Indians. So, though tourism can help make great revenue it can leave the country with a very bad impact on them.
In conclusion, relying solely on tourism will not help countries skyrocket to the top as the country also needs to develop good infrastructure and behaviour towards tourists which make them leave an excellent review of the country.
