In this modern epoch, an increasing number of people choose to migrate to urban areas. This trend has both positive and negative effects on the city which will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
To commence with, lots of individuals move to urban areas this allow them to access various facilities related to transportation, culture, shops and others. This is particularly best for students to have good education in best institutions. Moreover, in the time of globalisation, many people leave their home to find new job opportunities in developed region. Because in big cities there are several companies that provide new experience to people. For instance, around 25 millions of people have already migrated to another developed urban city for earn more money to support their family financially. This also make them self-independent and emotionally strong. Therefore, this technological feature of urban city attract many people towards it.
On the other hand, every coin has two side, so, this also have negative consequence to the overall population of the city. It increases the competition in spots of a company and due to that lot of people remain unemployed. It not only increase competition but also make city overcrowded mainly in public property such as parks, transport, sport club etc. And it is also responsible for long lasting traffic congestion that resist people to reach at their workplaces at ideal time. In addition, the cost of housing and renting would also increase with high demand created by immigrants. Therefore, it makes living in those places more difficult and expensive.
In conclusion, although there urban cities provide various job opportunities and infrastructure. But our population can adversely affect the way of living of local people as well as create several concerns for outsiders to that can lead them into a pessimistic outcome.
