Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is widely thought that many people reckon shopping malls are suitable places to spend their free time and socialise, however people used to visit malls only when essential.I believe this is quite a positive trend due to the change in mindset and visiting malls is not considered a waste of time anymore. This essay will argue the benefits of their change.

In the 21st century society is more easygoing and open minded. A good illustration of this is People were judged whilst now it has stopped. Therefore people feel more secure and don’t care about others’ opinions. For now it is normal to spend their free time just to meet with others and relax.

These days people want to spend more time with friends so as to forget about their problems and find calm so connection keeps them going. For instance people can become depressed due to a lack of communication so they basically meet at simple places just like shopping malls. For example, many teenagers and young adults meet at the mall after school or simply walk around together. Even if they do not buy anything, the mall provides a safe and comfortable environment where they can talk, share their feelings, and support each other. This social interaction helps them reduce stress and prevents them from feeling isolated.

To summarise, the increasing tendency to spend leisure time in shopping malls reflects a positive shift in people’s mindset and lifestyle. Malls are no longer viewed only as places for essential shopping but have become comfortable social spaces where individuals can relax, communicate, and strengthen their relationships. This change not only supports emotional well being but also helps people feel more connected and less isolated.

Some people believe that governments should spend more on preventing diseases rather than treating them. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

I completely agree that governments should prioritize disease prevention over treatment. Preventive measures reduce the number of people who become ill in the first place, while many medical treatments are expensive and cannot always restore patients to full health. One reason is that preventing diseases is far more effective than treating them afterwards. Governments can […]

It is often argued that government investment in the younger generation is the most effective strategy for ensuring a nation’s long-term future prosperity. On the one hand, the benefits of governmental […]

University education should be free for everyone, regardless of income. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Write at least 250 words.

There is a view that University schooling must be accessible for everyone, while some may agree with this statement, I strongly believe that Universities should remain fee-based, as it will encourage students and cover utility bills. Initially, providing free high education, will eventually lead to drop in literacy rates among students. Right now, grants and […]
