In contemporary times, while some people contend that shopping online is of convenience, others concede that it is beneficial to purchase at physical stores. In this essay, I will analyze both viewpoints before presenting my opinion.
On the one hand, online shopping offers a multitude of upsides for people. One of the predominant advantages of this shopping method is the instant convenience. Regardless of geographical barriers, with just a few clicks, people can purchase anything from anywhere, at any time. This can be a prelude to caring for the quality of life for those who do not have substantial time to shop offline. Another positive aspect is preferential treatment, which is rarely included in physical stores. With a myriad of coupons and vouchers, people can get the items purchased at a more affordable price, which would suit those who do not have superior economic background.
On the other hand, offline shopping is of paramount importance to ensure a better life. Firstly, traditional shopping helps customers evaluate the overall quality of their purchases. While online commercial platforms do not provide detailed information about products, physical shopping can help them gain insights into real-life models, determining informed choices for the shopping list. For example, while some people’s health are exacerbated by the usage of vague and low-quality medicines on the internet, intellectuals ensure a healthier lifestyle due to informed decisions about direct transactions at the pharmacy. Secondly, shopping offline can facilitate their suitable personalized choices. For example, the shoes users buy online may not fit the owners owing to ambiguous information about size and patterns, which lead to repurchasing and waste of money.
In conclusion, the debate regarding whether online or in-store shopping serves as a catalyst for the shopping experience remains contentious. From my perspective, I’m in favor of offline shopping on account of its authenticity and reliability for a comprehensive life.
