It is widely spread that numerous humans do labour that they despise during y their whole lives. The given essay will try to elaborate on the reasons for this issue (which are pressure and fear) and will also talk about the possible outcomes that this matter can bring (burnouts and depression).
It is important to note that so many people hate working at the places they are employed in. There are various reasons for this, but the main ones are pressure, which comes from family and the society and fear of failure in the different area. For example, there are a lot of first year students in the universities of Kazakhstan, whose majors were chosen by their parents, since at the age of 18, most humans have no idea of what future profession top choose. They are no it allowed to have a gap year, since it is considered shame in kazakh families. Hence, they go and study their parent’s chosen field. At the end of the day, they realize that they do not want to study engineering, for instance. However, the society, let alone parents pressure the poor person and frighten them with the belief that is is not serious to change in the middle of the road, that it is shameful for the family and so on. Thus, students end up getting a degree they hate and out of fear and pressure start working as “engineers” for the rest of their lives.
As a consequence, above-mentioned people discover to have burnouts because of the jobs that disgusts them. Moreover, there is a high probability that may get a depression. This matter was discussed by me and my therapist during our sessions, since I was in the group of fearful and ashamed people as well. I have experienced a burnout, which happily did not turn into a depression due to the fact that I quit the job I despised. These are just a couple of the consequences that people face in their lives doing the actions they do not like at their workplaces.
In conclusion, the given essay discussed the two basic causes of struggling at work that so many humans do not like. Also, it provided two negative effects that stem from the given issue.
