Pharmaceutical products are one of the essential parts of individual’s life. Going to a doctor is not an issue, but buying expensive medicines as per their prescriptions is. Reaching out for medicines is not the problem of the people living in developed countries; whereas, people living in third-world countries; it is a big hurdle. When the medications are not provided to the people suffering from even curable sickness in these countries, they die eventually. I believe that medicine companies should send their drugs with cut prices in the countries, who cannot afford.
What can be more important for anyone than saving lives? Drug companies with bigger and better reputation has always helped the countries going through from any natural disaster or any destruction; they have always sent in aids for the people. For example, at the time of Covid-19, many countries with stable economy, helped poor countries by sending aids and resourceful things, so when it comes to affordability; these companies should consider this aspect too. This will help the people living in crisis, to buy medicines for the diseases which can be healed; they would not think twice before approaching any professional help, because of the fear of bills of the medicines. The companies should not completely demolish their profit, but they can at least reduce their profit for these nations.
To conclude, I would say that the government of the underdeveloped countries should approach the International medication companies for the better health of their own people, because healthier the people, better the World.
