Nowadays, many people are waiting to have their first child until their mid-30s and even 40s. In my opinion, the benefits of this trend outweigh the drawbacks.
To begin, there are several benefits to having a first child later in life. Firstly, after they get married, they need time to travel around the world and visit a lot of places to have new experiences, explore new cultures, and enjoy nice views from each place. Secondly, they need time to pursue higher education and gain higher skills. Moreover, it is easier for them to apply for jobs in companies or government positions because they are seen as having a lot of skills and having studied abroad. Lastly, having enough income before having a child means they are ready to be parents and provide for their child.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to having a first child later in life. One of the cons is the negative impact on the woman’s health, as when a woman gets older, it can be harder to have a baby, and sometimes there can be problems that lead to the baby or the mother’s death, which is not good. In addition, they may not be as energetic or physically strong as they were when they were younger, which means their energy levels may be lower when they get older, and the baby may have a lower IQ.
In conclusion, although there is a negative impact on the woman’s health and they may not be as energetic or physically strong as when they were younger, it also leads to opportunities to travel around the world, pursue higher education, and have enough income before having a baby. In my opinion, I think that there are more benefits than drawbacks.
