In an era marked by the ever-changing development of education, a large number of citizens hold the view that self-study is a significant milestone in one’s success. From my perspective, I completely agree with this idea for the following reasons.
To begin with, it is understandable why many people have a positive perception of this method. The key rationale lies behind the fact that unlike studying under a teacher’s supervision, self-study facilitates students to better acquire knowledge through the self-evaluation process. For instance, by learning by themselves, pupils can perform better academically and acknowledge their strength and weaknesses in various subjects, enabling them to focus on their talents and develop drawbacks efficiently.
Additionally, self-learning benefits also extend beyond academic environments. It is not only a method to motivate one to improve but also a useful tool for students to complete themselves. This means that they will be empowered to learn, try and immerse in new things without being reliant on others’ supervision and support. As a result, they will become more physically and emotionally resilient towards hardships as they can now adopt and overcome challenges.
To conclude, although various factors contribute to personal success, self-study emerges as a crucial component in shaping one’s future. It empowers individuals to take ownership of their learning, adapt to change, and pursue goals with resilience and autonomy
