In the modern era, spending a lot of money on special occasions has become a controversial topic. Many individuals believe spending money is justified, while others disagree, considering it a waste of money. The following paragraph will argue both views and add personal opinion.
On the one hand, some people believe spending money on celebrations like weddings and birthdays is beneficial and has numerous advantages as it creates beautiful and memorable events. Weddings come once in everyone’s life, so it is precious events to capture the moment. In addition, most people spend money for their personal enjoyment, as they are very tired of their work, and want more relax and peace. Moreover, people are tired from their work or job so they create events for great gatherings which make them feel free from their busy days. For instance, my uncle is a police officer, and he is very busy in his work, so he frequently organizes events to gather with loved ones to get free from the work.
On the other hand, a few individuals believe that spending money on events is just a waste of money. They believe individuals can use this money for their study or for future use. For example, my brother hates to celebrate his birthday, so he collects all the money for his education. Moreover, individuals can donate to the needy people. There are many people who don’t even have money to buy clothes, food, and education. Instead of wasting money on unwanted things, they can donate it to the needy people.
In a nutshell, I believe individuals should spend money on events but wisely, as it creates beautiful memories, gathering with loved ones, and personal enjoyment. If they spend money in an uncontrolled way, then it takes serious issues like economic crises. So, individuals should spend money wisely to get benefit from it.
