Threre are plenty of adverts on TV and social media sources devoted to fast food consumption that encourage people to eat junk food. Lately, this issue has raised a lot of heated controversies. In my opinion, such kind of advertisement should be blocked because they encourage unhealthy lifestyle and worsening the popularity of diets and sport activities.
To begin with, the overwhelming amount of low-quality information from advertisement, fast food industry espesially, encourage people to lead unhealthy lifestyle due to the availability of the junk food. Moreover, the populatiry of take-aways have raised in correlation with the spreading of fast food adverts, and the amount of points has increased consequently. For example, I used to make dinner on my own, but with the development of the fast food marketing and availability of take-aways I have started to grab a snack insted of cooking and have gained weight.
Secondly, the spreading of such adverts has decreased the moments when people can see the adverts about sports and popular diets. In addition, due to being more attractive they kicked out the boring and annoying available programs and consequences of healthy diets. For example, a friend of mine was stressed that recommendation system of the Instagram started to show the fast food adverts and reviews more than ever before, which affected on his lifestyle.
To conclude, adverts devoted to fast food consumerism should be cut off because it forces people to lead unhealthy lifestyle and it makes the diet programs less popular.
