There is a view that many employees work from home using modern technology, which benefits only the workers and not the employers. While I do believe that working from home has a positive effect on both employees and employers as it can improve the quality of work, I also think it can lead to some issues, such as inequality among workers.
Remote working plays a crucial role in the quality of work and can enhance operating speed. This is mainly because many workers do not spend a lot of time commuting, allowing them to spend more time on work. Furthermore, working from home allows employers to hire people from a wide range of countries. Employees can also improve their communication skills by working with people from foreign countries. Remote working not only benefits workers but also has a significant impact on entrepreneurs. For example, a businessman might want to hire employees through social platforms, and many freelancers can find jobs.
However, I believe that remote working can lead to financial inequality due to the cost of using modern technology at home. Employees need to pay to create good working conditions at home. Some workers might struggle to buy the necessary equipment, leading to unemployment among them. Additionally, it can reduce face-to-face interaction among workers, making it harder for them to work collaboratively. Moreover, working from home requires strict supervision, as many workers might deceive their employers. On the one hand, it can also decrease the quality of work because of a lack of self-discipline among workers. They might not start work on time and might finish early, which can deteriorate the quality of work.
In conclusion, in my opinion, remote work can be beneficial to some extent. However, it can lead to financial inequality among employees, and employers should enhance supervision.
