Nowadays, people use machines and electrical devices to perform tasks in their homes instead of doing them by hand. Although this trend has some disadvantages, I firmly believe that the benefits of this development outweigh its drawbacks.
On the one hand, there are some arguments against this trend. Firstly, doing routine tasks at home can be considered physical activity for those who do not exercise outside. Using these machines, however, makes people more sedentary, leading to health issues like obesity. In addition, using electrical devices requires a lot of energy, contributing to environmental degradation. Moreover, purchasing these machines is expensive. Finally, if these machines break down, individuals who are used to relying on them may face difficulties.
On the other hand, I agree that these machines improve the quality of life in several ways. Firstly, as people are so busy nowadays, they have less time for housework, and home appliances make these tasks easier. Furthermore, the cost of living is high not only in big cities but also in small towns, so both men and women often need to work. Additionally, repetitive and tiring housework can have negative effects on a person’s physical and mental health. Finally, household machines can reduce the risk of accidents that may occur during manual labor.
In conclusion, although there are some disadvantages, the benefits of using household machines, such as saving time and reducing physical strain, far outweigh the drawbacks.
