In today’s fast-paced world, many employees are spending most of their time at work and leading to little or no exercise which has been causing health related problems. I will explain reasons behind this trend along with some solutions in the upcoming paragraphs.
Firstly, longer working hours are affecting daily routine of labour force. They are spending 8-9 hours of the day working, which makes them fatigue. They come home tired and restless, consume their rest day to rest and sleep. Thus, workers do not possess enough time to work out or to go to gym. As a result, they are suffering from obesity, high blood pressure, stress and anxiety.
To tackle this problem, the governments should not overlooked the solutions. The primary approach is that authorities should reduce the working hours, then workers can utilize their rest time of the day to perform physical activities.
The secondary approach is that governments should raise awareness about labour about opting healthy lifestyles. They ought to invest some money to educate the workers about the importance of exercise which will facilitate to mitigate the health problems.
In conclusion, even though longer working hours are affecting workers health, the people in power can minimize the working hours to provide them enough time to spend on themselves to work out. Awareness should be raised among working people, so that they can make individual choices to avoid any healthy related problems.
