History makes a huge sense in a developing country while today most of young generation are interested in the life of famous people from social media instead of important historical figures. There are potential reasons of it and some changes which can be introduced to make history more interesting. Thus, in this essay below I will be presenting main triggers and some actions to enhance the interest in the past.

In the century of technology, Internet, television and advertisements affect individuals’ outlook. Almost everyone uses social media where they follow some public figures who show only positive side of their lifestyle. The young community who are not able to distinguish real life and unreal world start to easily admire whatever they saw on the screen. Moreover, at schools teaching method have not changed for many years that is not attractive for students. An exam-based educational system does not focus on learning about historical leaders but on getting best scores. For example, a research done by teachers shows that for learners it is hard to memorize every information only by reading books and memorizing data.

Nonetheless, there are a few ways to deal with this issue. Government play a big role in the life of citizens by what they show to them. Organizing different festivals, scenes about cultural and traditional heritages and past can attract young people. Also, it has proven that most of the humanity has a more developed visual memory.Furthermore , a teaching style can be improved by designing attractive lessons with presentations, plays and trips to historical places. Teachers can give engaging tasks such as setting up a theater. While organising a scene students do some research by themselves and find information which is interesting to them. In addition, electronic boards can be used by school instead of traditional blackboards by what they can watch different films and videos about past.

To conclude, to achieve growth in the country learning past can be very useful. However, social media and boring learning methods make young people pay more attention to celebrities than historical leaders. Organising festivals and scenes and changing how students learn can solve these problems. From my point of view, showing more about past will be beneficial for youngsters to boost their knowledge.
