In today’s contemporary world, communities have different and clashing personal values regarding emotional well-being. There is a common perception that nowadays people are prone to socializing to avoid stress or feeling isolated when they are alone. Some people consider the primary reason behind this to be that it is the best approach to postpone interpreting their emotions, while others argue that building healthy boundaries is the main part of human lives. From my perspective, I think that establishing bonds with your loved ones is essential to feel yourself appreciated and respected.
On the one hand, indeed, numerous people frequently hide their interpreted emotions and the hurt caused by someone due to forgiveness. Although sensitive individuals know about its adverse effect on health, they continue to decline interpretively rather than let go of resentment. Such people have a fear of staying alone, since most of such people start to think negatively and treat themselves unfairly. In such circumstances, people need sincere communication and therapy, which friends have the potential to provide.
On the other hand, maintaining social bonds is an essential part of our life to focus on our emotional health and self-worth. Daily interaction in the community, particularly between friends, fosters our moods and establishes a healthy society. Communication, laughs, and jokes have a positive effect on human health, specifically making a person’s life expectancy longer. Without socialising and behaving with society, people might be let down by stress or depression. Therefore, a considerable portion of people admitted that relationships are a normal phase in human life.
To draw a conclusion, every person can behave differently with socialization; specifically, some might see it as the only way to distract from real emotion, whereas others advocate that it is a vital part of life. To my mind, establishing healthy boundaries is crucial to preserve dignity.
