There is on going debate about the money spent by government, is it better to spend it on space programmes or public services? Personally, I think it is better to be spent on public services for certain reasons.
Government should stop spending money on space programmes for different reasons. Firstly, they consume tons of millions and huge effort while producing a little. Secondly, the outcomes of these programmes doesn’t show in seconds, it needs years to see an update or to descover new thing. Thirdly, those results do not benefit us as much as public services do. Finally, we must be wise about spending money in the right way.
However, spending money on public services is more helpful for multiple reasons. Firstly, it do not consume a lot of money as the former one. Secondly, its results can be shown in short period. In addition to that, those results can benefit majority of residents. For example, there are many families who can not afford for their children to go to school. I think we should give more attention to our children needs more than space programmes. Also, there are many hospitals were there is no modern technology avaiabl which affect on the residents treatment quality. Finally, those public services play an essential role on the resident style of life. As a result, it need a consist support from the government.
In conclusion, I belive that the government should spend the money on the most benefit way for its residents which is on public services.
