The alarming rate at which animal species are dying out is one of the major concerns in today’s world. Human activities, both on land and in the ocean are the primary contributors to this environmental crisis. Personally, I beieve that this issue is mainly attributed to habitat destruction and the lack of awareness among many individuals. However, it can addressed through environmental education and conservation regulations.
One leading factor behind animal extinctions is the lack of understanding in many people, which may cause unsustainable behaviours and activities. For example, excessive sea mining and littering water resources with waste may adversely affect the marine life and sea animals, such as turtles may be captured and entangle in large pieces of plastic. Furthermore, habitat degredation which stems from human activites may also be another reason for animal vanishment. Human populations is increasing rapidly, resulting in the rising demand for land use, urbanization, cultural and industrial development. For instance, farming practices may lead to intensive deforestation, which may harm the living habitats, food chain and breeding ground of many species such as tiger and red panda.
On the other hand, educational initiatives and campaign may play a crucial role in tackling the problem. Schools and programs can provide lessons about the importances of protecting wildlife and the consequences of human activities. This may partly raise people awareness and promote more environmentally responsible choices, proactive actions to reduce waste and avoid buying products deprived from animal exploitation. Moreover. the government should also implement regulations and policies, controlling and limiting human activities. For example, powerful penalties can serve as deterrent against illegal behaviour such as hunting and destroying natural habitat.
In conclusion, the number of vulnerable animals are increasing because of the low consciousness and human induced in habitat loss. However, educational methods, along with the implementation and enforcement of the government for stringent conservation policies may mitigate the concerning issue. Personally, I believe that individuals should proactively take part in conservation efforts and acknowledge the importance of animal protection.
