Having an ideal family brings several advantages for a person. However, a couple’s disability to control birth rate has resulted in a bad family’s circumstance which lead their descendants to opine that child-free is a better option. Whether the reason of deciding child-free is a noble motives, such as a way to tackle high population or to achieve advance living, is still an ongoing debate. In my perspective, child-free is a quiet selfish decision of a couple.
On the first hand, choosing to have no children will enlarge a couple opportunity to achieve a decent lifestyle. With only two members of the family, their monthly expenditure would be lower than other families which have many members. Although child-free also has several advantages for a state with high population such as China and India, continuing this principle will reduce the future generations. As a result, its country would be loss their citizens and should do more efforts to encourage their citizens to have children. For instance, Japan, even though its country is advance and have good life quality, Japan needs to hire youngster to do the labourer job because its country’s people are getting older.
On the other hand, even though deciding to give birth lower parents chance to acquire decent living, it also brings advantages for the families. As long as couples able to manage the mothers’ maternity chance and only have two children in maximum, these families will also have a chance to experience better life quality. Having kids also means that a couples has someone to nurture that would become a person they can rely on in the future. Moreover, if families choose to have their own descendants, it would broaden the have greater generations. Therefore, in my opinion, a family should have kids.
In conclusion, child free may have several advantages, however, having children benefits outweigh the having “no child” option benefits.
