Today, traveling around attractive and popular places become a fashion to everyone during their vacation period. Moreover, they have addicted to taking photographs of well known places, than looking at the places. In this essay, I will explore the reasons for this phenomenon. Moreover, I will agree this is a negative trend, and I will explain my opinion with examples.

Firstly, there are many causes that lead people to capture pictures of their travelling places. One is, many want to keep the memory of their journeys, as a result, they forget about real visuals and store more digital visuals. As well as, most teenagers are willing to show off their status through their traveling photos, and videos. For instance, today, there are thousands of You-Tube travelling channels, which only go on trips to get reviews and subscribers.

In my opinion, this is a minus point trend that harms the purpose of trips. Moreover, in past, individuals went to visit well-known places due to they wanted to see those places with their own eyes and get those unforgettable feelings. Currently, many go to visits to capture the scenery and post it in online platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. For instance, if someone visits Niagara Falls and only captures it on their phone without looking at the place, he or she could see Niagara Falls on their phone by downloading from the internet.

In conclusion, people travel to take images due to maintain their social image and fill their phone storage. This leads to a negative trend because they forget to see real visuals, and negatively impacts the meaning of travel.
