In contemporary years, an increasing number of people have chosen to move away from the places where their family and friends live, mainly due to education, career opportunities, and personal development. Personally, l am convinced that this trend has more benefits than drawbacks.
The obvious disadvantage is the emotional impact coused by seperation from loved ones. Strong social support is provided by family members and close friends, and without it , individuals may experience loneliness and stress. In addition, maintaining relationships can be more challenging when people live far apart, as regular face-to-face communication is reduced. Individuals may feel more depressed, to result they self-confidence decrease considrable.
On the up side, there are significant advantages this trend bring to people’s lives. Moving to a new place can provide individuals with better opportunities for professional and personal growth. A large number of individuals relocate to large cities where more jobs are available and higher salaries can be earned. Consequently, their quality of life experience improved significantly. To illustrate, several developed countries experienced that over 18 years, teenagers are allocated to their families and set up their own independent lives. Furthermore, living independently from family members can help individuals develop essential life skills, such as responsibility, decision-making, and financial management. These experiences may lead to personal maturity and self-confidence because they learn how to live away from their families.
Conclusion, although moving away from families and friends can create emotional challenges, I strongly believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages because it allows individuals to access better opportunities and develop independence, which are essential for long-term success.
