In our day, level of foreign students is getting higher and higher, which is pretty good. On the other hand, there are some people who don’t find it as beneficial as study in home town.
One of the main advantages of participating in a foreign university program is traveling to different regions and learning more about other cultures, traditions and the way of their life, which is some sort of useful for us. There you can make a lot of friends and start to adapt to social norms. What is more, this kind of travels or journeys teach you to live independently especially if you don’t live in campus, you will have to be responsible for bills and your spending, moreover, you may have to work to supply yourself. I think we shouldn’t forget that quality of education in some countries is in a little bit bad condition, thus study overseas would be better for them.
Despite these arguments, there can be some opponents claim against these ideas. Their main contention is most students stay abroad where they used to study and settle down there. With the lapse of time these situations cause unqualified employees then decreasing of economics of the country. Furthermore, they also believe that minimizing quantity of students heads to inferior education system. Then more students start to leave a country then there will be formed a repetitive cycle, which will be reasonable for worse and worse knowledge of students, and it ends up undereducated students who rely on money and corruption.
In conclusion, even though disadvantages of doing degree abroad cannot be ignored, I am sure that getting knowledge overseas is much better and more useful for society, of course if they come back and work hard for the future of their homeland.
