To be more specific, local authorities may not have strict rules for foreign tourist in order to encourage tourism; therefore, they would feel they are not in the face of heavy fines and become free to violate the rules such as littering and setting little fires which may cause wildfire. Moreover, mass tourism has been more and more popular which is anticipated destroying many heritage sites. Lack of information and knowledge tourists sometimes in favor of having a special sign in famous destination by drawing or writing their name which make these heritages become dirty and devastate its cultural value.
In regard to solution, there are 2 most possible solutions can be taken to address these problem. To begin with, governments and local authorities should pass strict laws . By doing this, the number of tourists who have intent of vandalism might be reduced because of heavier fines. For example, in Singapore no one eat gums due to the heavy fine. Beside, government can conduct campaigns for international tourist when promoting destination. With using of this measure, people could understand the value of the place which they plan to visit.
